And the winner is ...
Congratulations to Roger Lorz and Towers Watson on the new Konftel 55W! “The new Konftel 55W has surprised us as it is an even further leap forward. The phone conferences feel like all participants are in the same room," says Roger Lorz, Office Services Associate at Towers Watson.
Roger Lorz works in Office Services at the Frankfurt branch of Towers Watson, a global consulting company in the field of human resources, financial and risk management. He won the Konftel 55W in a draw that we held for customers who were the first to sign up for information on the new Konftel 55.
For years, Towers Watson has been using four Konftel 60W and one Konftel 50. "We have also recently started using a Konftel 55W," says Roger Lorz. "Now we have won a second Konftel 55W that we will install in another conference room."
Leap in quality with the Konftel 55W
Roger Lorz is responsible for ensuring that the offices and conference rooms are optimally equipped for the nearly 140 employees of Towers Watson at the Frankfurt branch. Conference technology is particularly important.
"Our experience with the Konftel products that we have been using to date has been very good. Sound quality in both directions is crystal clear," explains Roger Lorz. "The new Konftel 55W has surprised us as it is an even further leap forward. The phone conferences feel like all participants are in the same room."
Simple connection with a Deskphone Adapter
At Towers Watson, the conference phones are connected directly to desktop phones via Deskphone Adapters. "The connection is very simple," explains Roger Lorz. "Connect the adapter to the phone and the Konftel to the adapter and that's it." Towers Watson uses a Mitel 3300 telephone system. In a conference room, a Konftel 55W is connected to a Cisco SX20 video conferencing system. Expansion microphones are used in some conference rooms.
Switching to Konftel 55
The employees at Towers Watson use Konftel conference phones mainly for meetings with customers and for internal meetings with colleagues at other branches. "We just cannot imagine our day-to-day work without the Konftels," says Roger Lorz. "Because of our positive experience we are going to gradually change over to Konftel 55 devices."
