Both end-customers' IT administrators and full-service distributors and dealers can benefit from Konftel ZTI – Zero Touch Installation. That the IP conference phones do not need to be unpacked to be configured before being sent to end-users saves both time and money. Konftel ZTI simplifies auto-provisioning for the Konftel 300IP. The web-based service directs phones to the appropriate provisioning server for automatic download of settings. The concept is well proven and is used for various types of network-connected IT equipment. Now it's time for conference phones to be administered with equally effective tools. Tools that not only make new installations much easier, but that also simplify product replacements and software upgrades.
Zero Touch Installation is an add-in for auto-provisioning that is supported in the Konftel 300IP. Konftel's ZTI service forwards the conference phone to the correct provisioning server.

IP TELEPHONY IN BRIEF
An IP phone is connected to a data network, the same as a computer. Like a computer, it has an IP address and the call is transmitted as data packets over the network. With an IP phone you can both call other IP phones (without leaving the network) and conventional phones over the public telephone network. SIP stands for Session Initiation Protocol and is a standardized protocol for connecting phone calls via networks – in some cases via the Internet. To make and receive calls, the phone has to be registered in an SIP PBX. It can be either a company PBX or one hosted by an IP telephony service provider.
